Meant To Be?

Is everything we experience what is meant to happen? Was it on 10/01/1970, my birthday already clear that 38 years and a couple of months later I would shoot an image of this candle and post it on this blog?

Is there any escape from destiny?

Did I have a chance to say no to shooting the candle? Was the reason why I took this photograph and wrote this post despite being very tired that it was meant to happen?
